A COOL KID LIKE CIO :)

its me cio well come back to asri own world , i would to review this short story , hope you guys enjoy .

here I want to review a story for  your sisters , brother or maybe your children . from Hans wilhelm ,Hans Wilhelm is a German-American writer, children's book author and illustrator, and artist. Hans Wilhelm has written and/or illustrated over 200 books – mostly for children. They have been translated in more than thirty languages and have won numerous international awards and prizes.

here I'll review the most popular , " A COOL KID LIKE ME ", begin from the cute cover , here Hans wilhelm choose pink color as a cover , why he choosed this ? acoording to tribun lampung from henrys blog ,  pink color is meaning is  widely symbolized according to western culture as the color of femininity, love, romance, caring, tenderness, and the birth of a baby girl. but Hans , but i guees its okey if  this cover used pink color , this cute for children .

from this story was told in the first person by an only child. His parents who are busy and far emotionally treat him as if he is the third adult in the household, but he gets love and attention from his grandmother. When Grandma left for a long vacation, she gave the boy the teddy bear, to whom he could express his fears at night because he was laughed at, for not having good friends, from his parents arguing. The story ends in an optimistic tone, with his worries easing during the day, and the return of his grandmother.

even though , tedy bear was no make sense for a boy , who want to grow up and " cool " from the title , but Based on American culture written on Wikipedia, Teddy Bear dolls are the most famous gifts and are often given to adults as expressions of love, congratulations or sympathy.

The text shows that the social environment demands masculine traits such as being male, brave and outspoken, while the main character Boy in this story is portrayed as a boy with a character that is contrary to the demands of the social environment. Boy's parents expect him to show masculine traits such as brave, steadfast, etc., while those masculine traits conflict with his own identity such as fear of the dark and others.

I want to addiction , why in this story a parent not understand with what boy felt in all day , and why boy as a children  try to brave to talk and start communication with his parent , why if a grandma passed away , he will be crazy or more afraid , i dunno , so we can gain from this story what the important comunication with our family evethough in the small problem :)
